We are an independent publishing house that connects kids and young adults with nature and environmentalism through the power of stories.

The Premise: in 1872, fictional kid characters create a group called The EcoSeekers to protect the environment. The EcoSeekers evolves over time to include kids and adult supporters, real and fictional, throughout the world.

Native American with Alice

The EcoSeekers Book Collection consists of historical fiction adventure stories about public lands and defining events and themes in the history of environmentalism, as told through the experiences of courageous young fictional characters. We think of our characters as historical guides, providing kids (and adults) with a framework to better understand and appreciate nature and environmentalism — but in a fun way. Each book includes a ‘real history’ section with facts and photos, all of which is thoroughly researched with historians and educators.

THE LAND OF CURIOSITIES™ is a book trilogy that revolves around the creation of Yellowstone as the world’s first national park. The books have been approved by the National Park Service as meeting their review standards.

We are committed to finding socially and environmentally responsible solutions to fulfill our mission of connecting kids and young adults with nature and environmentalism. All books are printed in North America using FSC-certified, post-consumer, chlorine and acid free, recycled paper and soy-based inks.

We proudly meet the standards of and are members of:
